ELEVATOR SERVICES
Maintenance
Maintenance must be done on a monthly basis as set out in the government gazette. All elevators must be maintained in a proper manner according to a programme to ensure the smooth running of the unit/s and to adhere to all safety regulations.
All visits to sites will be recorded in the record book which must be kept in the Machine room or by the Control panel. On completion of all visits a “scope of works” form will be filled out and signed for by the person/s responsible at the premises. We will record any issues and/or progresses on these forms for your record and for ours.
Upgrade & Modernisation
Holtz Elevators will assess the current condition of the existing lift and give professional advice accordingly. We would look at the age of the unit, history of the breakdowns and the cost of these breakdowns, the traffic on a daily basis, condition of all mechanical parts and Electrical.
There is a option of having a partial upgrade and can be broken down to specific items that must be replaced. When there is too many parts to be replaced we would then recommend installing a new lift.
Upgrades include changing the Control Panel, Shaft Information, Car and Landing floor push buttons, wiring, Safety devices, Door motors and in some cases
Modernisation can also include taking care of the look of the interior of the car and Doors for the car and landing floors.
Repairs
Repairs will be done to units that are out of Contract (No other Elevator Company is busy with the unit), or with written permission from the current contractor. Repairs will be quoted for and agreed upon before any action is taken.
We have access to all makes of parts and in the case of parts being obsolete or readily unavailable we will remanufacture or make modifications to resolve.
